South Border finished sixth over the weekend at the Linton Holiday Invitational wrestling tournament.
Mobridge/Pollock, South Dakota, was the team champion, with 211 points. The Tigers were followed in the top five by Velva, 166; Bowman County/Beach, 165.5; Carrington, 160; and Hettinger, 158.5.
South Border led the second five, with 153.5 points. Minot Bishop Ryan, 125; Oakes, 122.5; Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter, 114; and New Salem-Almont, 113.5 completed the top 10 in a 28-team field.
"We wrestled very well once again," said South Border co-head coach Josh Hoffman.
"The competition was fierce. The holiday tournament in Linton always is kind of a mini Class B state tourney for North Dakota and we had a couple of very strong teams from South Dakota there as well."
